Guide for use of the IsleBebytheSea Lay Z Spa hot tub

Aim: to make sure you use the hot tub comfortably and safely, both for you and other users.

Induction with host is essential before hot tub use.  Your host will be available to do the induction with you at you pre agreed check in time.  If you do not check in at the time agreed, contact your host. Induction would then be a hosts convenience and this may be the next day.

(This is based on what you tell me. Please do not use the hot tub if you are unsure how to use it.  If you need further instruction, please ask me before you use it. THE HOT TUB STAYS ON ALL THE TIME.

  • Never use the hot tub above 40 deg C. (It is pre set to 39 deg C, please do not alter it.)
  • Never leave non swimmers or children unattended in the hot tub.
  • No users under 16.
  • This hot tub is only for use by the 2 guests booked in IsleBebytheSea.
  • Do not use electrical appliances near water.
  • Use only plastic, not glass around the hot tub, (there are plastic glasses in the crockery cupboard in the hut.
  • Do not drink alcohol before or during your time in the hot tub.
  • If you are pregnant, have high blood pressure or a cardiovascular condition, consult your doctor before you use a hot tub.
  • At night time, use lights available.
  • Use railings available.
  • The deck area the hot tub sits on is ‘grooved’ to minimise slipperiness, but still take care with your footing, especially on the steps or when it is wet or frosty.
  • To minimise the risk of trips, use the hooks to hang robes and be careful of any potential trip hazards such as the power cable or the mat under the spa. Use the stool/table if needed.
  • If you notice any damage or faults, tell your host straight away.
  • Do not use the hot tub if you are aware of a fault with it.
  • Please keep the noise down – we ask you not to use the bubbles after 9pm, as we all tend to shout over them a bit….
  • Please limit Hot tub is for use to 1 hour max at a time.
  • Do not use when there is lightning or thunder.

This is your hosts own personal domestic spa system but the water is changed for every guest.  The water is chemically maintained with chlorine, and PH managed, and these levels are checked daily in line with the manufacturer’s guidance.  This is not a commercial system.

  • Do not use the hot tub if you have a sensitivity to chlorine or if you have skin sensitive to chemicals.
  • Do not swallow the water.
  • Do not use the hot tub if you have irritated or broken skin or if you have a contagious skin disease.
  • Do not use the hot tub if you are not in good health.
  • Just like in a swimming pool, please shower before and after you use the hot tub.
  • Do no use if you have covid 19 symtoms.
  • Do not drink alcohol in the hot tub.

The Lay Z Spa has been programmed to specific settings, only use the UNLOCK & bubble button when you require, no other button. When you finish, make sure the bubbles are off & press lock, then please replace the lid.  Leave it switched on.

USE MUST BE FINISHED BY 10.30PM

By booking the hot tub, it is understood you are satisfied & accept the information you have had and agree, on behalf on you and your party, to follow the advice given for safe, correct and responsible hot tub use, and you on behalf on you and your party agree to using it at your own risk, only using it if you are in good health, and waive any legal recourse for damages to persons or your property arising from using it.
